The man who killed 77 people in bomb and gun attacks in Norway last July has boasted of his actions in a statement at his trial in Oslo.
"I have carried out the most spectacular and sophisticated attack on Europe since World War II," Anders Behring Breivik told the court.

Norway killer Breivik shooting spree for police

Norway killer Breivik shooting spree for police

Restrained by a harness, Anders Behring Breivik reconstructed his actions for police in a secret daylong trip back to the crime scene where he killed 69 people at Utoya island near Oslo.
The 32-year-old Breivik described the shootings in close detail during an eight-hour tour on the island with up to a dozen police, prosecutor Paal-Fredrik Hjort Kraby told a news conference in Oslo.

The reconstruction took place amid a massive security operation that aimed to avoid escape attempts by Breivik and protect him against potential avengers. Breivik walked roughly the same route as the one he took during the shooting spree and explained what happened with as little interference as possible from police, Hjort Kraby said.
The entire hearing was filmed by police and may later be used in court, he added.

Video images of the reconstruction published by Norwegian daily VG show Breivik arriving at Utoya with the same ferry he used to get to the island last month. Breivik wore a bulletproof vest and a harness connected to a leash over a red T-shirt and jeans as he casually led police around the island.
Breivik is seen pointing out locations along the way and simulating shots into the water, where panicked teenagers dove in to try to escape from him.
"The suspect showed he wasn't emotionally unaffected by being back at Utoya ... but didn't show any remorse," Hjort Kraby told reporters..

Norway Tragedy

Norway Tragedy:I saw many dead people

Slide
The police uniform shouted for the campers to come closer. The gunman who killed at least 80 people at an island youth camp northwest of Oslo used his disguise to lure in his victims, then shot them twice to make sure they were dead, survivors said in the village of Sundvollen, taken after the massacre.

"I lost several friends," said Berzingi, whose pants were stained with blood. He said he used the cell phone of one of his fallen friends to call police.

"I saw many dead people," said 15-year old Elise, whose father, Vidar Myhre, didn't want disclose her last name. She just feet away the gunman when he opened fire in the camp on Utoya island.

Elise said she had just come out from an information meeting in a nearby building, she heard gunshots. She saw a police officer and thought she was safe, but then he started shooting.

"He first shot people on the island. Afterward he started shooting people in the water," she said.

The girl phoned her parents, whispering to them what was going on. “They told me not to panic and that everything would be OK." Her parents also told her to get rid of a brightly colored jacket she was wearing to not draw attention to herself.

Police said the man arrested in the shooting is Norwegian and had set off a bomb that killed seven people outside the prime minister's headquarters in Oslo.

A Sundvollen hotel, but the stories they told were of utter terror.
Dana Berzingi said the fake police officer ordered people to come closer, then pulled weapons and ammunition from a bag and started shooting.
