Myanmar's Suu Kyi enters parliament to take oath

Myanmar pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi entered parliament on Wednesday to be sworn in to public office for the first time after a struggle lasting more than two decades against authoritarian rule.
The Nobel Peace Prize winner signed a registration book inside the building and was poised to take an oath as a member of parliament, ending a week of political impasse as Myanmar's nominally civilian government continues to make reforms.   MORE . . . .
