Top News For women, by women, of women

Virtually all women want to feel an intimate sense of bond and connection with their man in a relationship.
In the course of there careers, they have all worked with some amazing women – intelligent, smart, hardworking and highly motivated. They are great mothers, wives and outstanding employees. Many of them have however traversed this journey towards being superwomen all by themselves. And some have given up half-way through, because it is hard work to push the boulder up the hill all alone!

So a lot of guys naturally attempt to establish that sense of bond and connection with a girl right away.
They approach a girl at a bookstore or club and attempt to establish deep rapport right away by eliciting her values or doing an incredible connection routine.
Unfortunately, they walk away brushed off by the girl and scratching their heads as to what they did wrong.
What went wrong is that they tried to establish an intimate bond and connection TOO SOON.
Yes, getting deep rapport with a girl is necessary - eventually.
Why haven’t women managed to create a network around them to help make their lives simpler? Of supportive friends and other cool women like themselves? Is it because they don’t want to, or is it because they have been too busy juggling all their roles as wife, mother, sister, employee to have time to connect with one another?
It is a fact that while men have many occasions to interact with each other through formal or informal networks, women don’t have any such opportunities. And this lack is perceived as one of the key reasons by women themselves for their lack of growth, and a critical reason why women still are not present in significant numbers in corporate corridors even today.
With an aim to offer a platform that helps working women in networking with each other and learn, share, grow, we have established the ‘Building Connections’ forum. The inaugural ‘Building Connections’ forum took place in Mumbai some time ago. Well attended by over 70 ladies, the energy it created, through re-forging old connections and building new ones, was quite amazing. The event had some lovely interactions with many women bravely sharing intimate parts of their lives with each other and, to top it all, it had one of the most good-looking and colorful audiences!
However, wonderful All are women talked about their lives and their stories and each presentation stood out for its remarkable content, style and the underlying determination with which each of them had pursued their dreams.
But NOT at the first moment you meet her.
If you try for bond, connection, and deep rapport at the first moment you meet a girl, it will blow up in your face.
Why?
Because you don’t have enough Social Value to the girl yet.
It’s not that women don’t like that building that sense of bond and connection with a man. They LIKE it. They WANT it.
They just want to do it with a man with equal or higher social value than themselves.
If you jump directly into Bond and Connection (B&C) routines and material right away without establishing any social value first, you’ll just come across as another "nice guy".

Saudi Women Test Reins under an Aged, Liberal King

Saudi women human whiffed new freedoms in past years. Withal, like the subtle pattern, a rational agency of the significant or meaning of something now were beingness settled on the otherwise identity-smothering, head-to-toe abaya, they don't go really heavy.
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Women in Arabian Arabia's maximal port seem like grim ghosts or shade, spectre, spook, wraith, specter, specters as they fill the shopping malls that dominate this wealthy municipality. They are awninged from head-to-toe with a sinister veil, and a hopeless clothe called an abaya. They usually dress a evil face-covering called a niqab and sometimes chemist gloves.

The wear or wear, garb is traditional, advisable for women living in the desert needing shelter from the soil and sun. Somebody, according to a topical journeying guide, became the justify as a outcome of an abaya salesman content about 500 age ago that caught on.
In the summer of 2011, the singer announced that women would be fit to support and selection in the 2014 municipal elections.

Now, some no longer smoldering in the biome; the abaya's material absorbs passion, and its modern polyester textile does not respire. Nevertheless, after the 1979 pious uprisings occurred in Arab Arabia and Iran, the women's vesture began to be strictly implemented by patrols of religious guard, who also reminder women's open7 manner and terminate them if they try to cross a car.
A sanction could be as minor as a blasting, embarrassing, accuse, Back you Madam by the cant of God." Still, the religious police love the expert to halt and gaol Saudi residents without charges, and they ofttimes do. One black I met claimed her mortal had clappers injured by the religious guard.

One evidence that the unpleasant restrictions on women may be lightening up a bit, withal, may be the subtle variations in the abaya that are now appearing in unlike cities.
Time most abayas are an unbroken business of sarcastic, a few in ultra-conservative Riyadh are decorated with organisation, gold and red needlework.
One nighttime in archeozoic May, I witnessed a threesome of personnel conducting a raid in a mall that is endeavor of a titanic churchly, retail and hotel interlacing. As it is representative, according to Saudis, I talked to, the pious personnel cosmopolitan that dark with a member of the municipality's constabulary oblige and a "man."
In writer progressive Jeddah, staleness love some variety of ablaze, more noted decorations. Some women are effort so far as to fag abayas that are brownness and flush beige, attended by a splotched scarf betraying both filament.
They recovered a partner on the indorsement story, unreal a hot restaurant, and began to head her as she sat on a governance, peritrichous in contraband. I could see no cogitate why they were bothering her and somebody no way of news on the outcome.
Businessman Abdullah also unsnarled many additional restraints on women.
In 2009, he recognised the introductory mixed-gender university campus in Saudi Peninsula. At the Vocalizer Abdullah Lincoln of Field and Application, the sacred force do not direct on-site. Women are allowed to mix freely with men, to intend on campus, and they are not required to deteriorate veils in the integrated classes.
In 2010, Vocalizer Abdullah initiated a unnaturalized cogitate scholarship performance for Arab citizens and roughly 25 percent of those transmitted abroad to rumination are women.
"No one wants a revolution," said one Arab black act a brownish paper abaya. Rank by locomotion.
Reflecting the modern humour is Laura Bashraheel, in her archeozoic 20s and a Arab newsman for the English-language Arabian Gazette. Feat her abolitionist abaya, she said it is her propagation that is stellar the move because "colorful is deadening," adding that the achromatic abaya is wretched in the Saudi turn. Bashraheel flat owns a colour abaya.
The women and men of Saudi Peninsula smouldering with quantity prospect of convergency these enforcers of churchly dictums, who implement things specified as the duty that women not only broach their body and surface, but every street of textile, keep closings at petition quantify, the mercantilism of steroid and different additional features of churchly law affecting daily spirit.
The negro abayas that conceal Saudi women also symbolize that's represented the deficiency of image in an incompatible monarchy that's kingdom, sovereignty.

Suspects 'Are Flesh of Victims' in Brazil

Brazil Murder Suspects 'Ate Flesh of Victims' that's a karate expert and two women have been arrested on suspicion of killing at least two women, before eating their flesh to 'purify the soul', police revealed today.
The Brazilian trio, who were seized in Pernambuco in the northeastern part of the country, was said by police to be part of a sect which believes in the 'purification of the world'.

Jorge da Silveira, 51, a graduate and karate expert, along with Isabel Pires, 51, and Bruna da Silva, 25, planned ot kill three women each year, according to Brazilian police.
A spokesperson said their plans were discovered when police came across a 50-page book belonging to da Silveira, which included drawings, and details of cannibalism.Police have found two bodies in the garden of a house belonging to the group.
They believe the bodies found could be those of Alexandra Falcao, 20, and Gisele da Silva, 30, who were reported missing in the area recently.
The two women were reportedly seen near the house of the suspects shortly before they disappeared.
Neighbors of the trio set fire to the house where the bodies were found on Thursday, according to Brazilian media.
Police Commissioner Wesley Fernandez said the trio were planning to kill another woman in a nearby town, and feel there could be more victims.
Three people accused of killing at least two women in Brazil have confessed to eating some of their victims' flesh, police have said.
One of the accused, who include a man and two women, is said to have admitted using some of the remains to cook pasties which were sold to neighbors in Garanhuns, in the state of Pernambuco.

Police held the trio on Wednesday after the remains of two women was found in the grounds of a house belonging to one of the suspects.
Officers said the accused had admitted to being part of a sect that received orders from a "voice" to kill women they considered evil, and they intended to kill three victims every year.
"The three ate the flesh of their victims to purify their souls," said a police spokesman.
Investigations began last month after Jorge Beltrao Negromonte da Silveira, 51, identified himself as the author of a 2009 pamphlet in which he appears to reveal details of the sect's activities.
Along with da Silveira, police arrested his wife, Isabel Cristina Oliveira da Silva, and his 25-year-old mistress Bruna Cristina Oliveira da Silva, who lived with the couple.
Also living at their house was a five-year-old girl, suspected to be the daughter of a 17-year-old girl murdered in 2008 in the Recife suburb of Olinda.
Police are investigating the three in relation to at least five other murders in the state.

A difficult life of Arab women

Erasing individuals or groups by stereotyping them is not a new phenomenon. It is difficult to imagine a society or a period of history completely devoid of this particularly cruel method of robbing people of their humanity; an individual who could live an entire life without being a victim or villain in the process of stereotyping. Can anyone honestly claim they have never said things like: "Arabs are devious," "Jews are stingy, " "Blondes are dumb (or have more fun)," "Redheads are hot tempered,"

Still, my own experience with stereotyping makes me hopeful. People usually have no real investment in wiping away the unique qualities of another person. When one becomes aware of an individual's special characteristics, and the full richness of the culture and environment that nurtures their growth, a stereotype begins to crumble like any facade. Unless one has a need to keep another in an inferior position, he realizes that prejudice imprisons the attacker as well as the victim,

As a result of Western misinformation and lack of awareness, Arab women are unfortunately, victims of the stereotyping process. There is little understanding of either our status as women or the total context of our lives. Like other maligned groups, we do our best to understand these misperceptions and, in our own way, to confront them. I know of no Arab woman who underestimates the difficulty of changing Western assumptions. The stereotypes of Arab women, "imprisoned behind a veil of powerlessness," will not be eradicated in our lifetime.

While we are often shocked into numbness by the depth of the misunderstanding, we know that each epoch of awareness is a new beginning and a new opportunity for us and for our daughters.

This great empire eventually declined but not before it had given hard-won knowledge like threads from the rich fabric of its culture, threads that are readily discernible in the tapestry of Western culture, politics and thought. Instead of one great empire, it was divided into countries and caliphates that became smaller and smaller as time went by. This fragmenting environment produced the right climate for the successful invasion of colonialism. For Arabs, sheer survival replaced creativity as a primary goal.

Later the cycle began to change again. There was a new Arab awakening. A new independence was in the air and with it a growing evolution toward emancipation, first of men and then of women. The stirrings of this new emancipation started by the end of the 19th century in most Arab countries.

Arab and Moslem women have been a viable entity for a long time; they have struggled, realized and enjoyed emancipation in their daily lives for centuries. As for the Moslem woman, no one can take the Word of God through his Messenger from her. Her evolution is her own and she knows she can accomplish her emancipation on her own.

The Arab woman appreciates the concern of her Western counterparts. She understands the excitement that Western women feel having so recently discovered their own freedom. The Arab woman knows however that she must go at her own pace, on her own terms and within the finite reality of her own culture in its particular historic moment.

Chief executive at the time, made her uncomfortable working there, three people with direct knowledge of the payment said on Tuesday.
Krauthammer pressed Cain further on the race issue in order to get a more definitive response. Cain responded that the left side of the political spectrum might be more racially driven than the right.
Relative to the left, I believe that race is a bigger driving factor that’s Video of Cain's answer can be viewed at the top of this story.

GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain fielded questions during multiple Fox News interviews on Tuesday night, appearing on Report with Bret Baier as well as "The O'Reilly Factor."
The woman was one of two whose accusations of sexual harassment by Mr. Cain, now a Republican candidate for president, led to paid severance agreements during his 1996-99 tenure at the association. Disclosure of the scale of the severance further challenged his initial description of the matter as a ‘witch hunt, as did new descriptions from the woman’s friends and colleagues of her level of discomfort at work.
The lawyer for one of two women who reportedly accused Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain of sexual harassment in the 1990s said Tuesday he had asked their former employer to waive an agreement and allow her to talk openly about her allegations.

The newspaper cited three sources as saying that the woman, then an employee at the National Restaurant Association, was given the amount – a full year's salary – after saying the encounter with Cain had made her uncomfortable.
Mr Cain, a former pizza company CEO who has led recent polls, was chief executive of the association at that time.
The candidate has denied any wrongdoing but admitted on Tuesday that a woman who accused him of sexual harassment received a paid settlement in the 1990s.
Mr. Cain also kept a dinner appointment with a small group of Republican senators at a Washington steakhouse near the White House. He arrived through a parking garage and entered a private room in the basement of Bobby Van’s, which allowed him to bypass a cluster of reporters who gathered outside.
Politico said it had started asking Cain's campaign about the allegations on Oct. 20 — 10 days before the story was published late Sunday.

Vitamins use health & death risk in for women

Research & Study: Vitamins use may increase health & death risk in older women

Popping vitamins may do more harm than good, according to a new study that adds to a growing body of evidence suggesting some supplements may have health risks.
Older women who took a daily vitamin supplement, even just a multivitamin, had an increased risk of dying of cardiovascular disease and cancer, according to a study published Monday in the journal Archives of Internal Medicine.
Multivitamin users older women just as likely as non-users to have died or been diagnosed with common cancers or suffered stroke or a heart attack.
This study about woman who take supplements dying younger a good example of why it’s important to be research literate. This study does not show a casual link to taking supplements and early death.
In this study, being trumpeted all over the web today, WebMB reports that “In a new study, multivitamins, folic acid, iron, copper, magnesium, zinc, and vitamin B6 supplements all increased an older woman’s risk. The greatest risk was seen with iron supplements. Calcium supplements, however, seemed to reduce a woman’s risk of dying.
Researchers used data from the Iowa Women's Health Study to examine the link between vitamin and mineral supplements and death rates among 38,772 women, average age 61.6. Women filled out questionnaires about supplement use in 1986, 1997 and 2004. "Out of 15 studied supplements, seven are associated with increased total mortality risk," . "Other studies have not shown the mortality risk our study shows” lead author Jaakko Murso says, at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
The new study linked a number of individual vitamins and minerals to the slight mortality risk, including multivitamins, vitamin B6, folic acid, iron, magnesium, zinc and copper.
"However, we do know that most compounds are toxic in high amounts, and long-term use might predispose [a person] to detrimental outcomes," he told MyHealthNewsDaily

Use of multivitamins, vitamin B6, folic acid, iron, magnesium, zinc and copper are associated with increased risk of death.
The association between supplement intake and death risk was strongest with iron.
Calcium supplements, meanwhile, were associated with reduced risk.

Saudi Women Can Vote In National Election.

Saudi Women Can Vote In National Election, King Says
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah, considered a reformer by the standards of his own ultraconservative kingdom, decreed on Sunday that women will for the first time have the right to vote and run in local elections due in 2015.
It is a "Saudi Spring" of sorts.
For the nation's women, it is a giant leap forward, though they remain unable to serve as Cabinet ministers, drive or travel abroad without permission from a male guardian.
Saudi women bear the brunt of their nation's deeply conservative values, often finding themselves the target of the unwanted attention of the kingdom's intrusive religious police, who enforce a rigid interpretation of Islamic Shariah law on the streets and public places like shopping malls and university campuses.
The decision to give the women the right to vote and run in municipal elections may not be enough to satisfy the growing ambition of the kingdom's women who, after years of lavish state spending on education and vocational training, significantly improved their standing but could not secure the same place in society as that of their male compatriots.
That woman must wait four more years to exercise their newly acquired right to vote adds insult to injury since Sunday's announcement was already a long time coming – and the next local elections are in fact scheduled for this Thursday.
"Why not tomorrow?" asked prominent Saudi feminist Wajeha al-Hawaidar. "I think the king doesn't want to shake the country, but we look around us and we think it is a shame ... when we are still pondering how to meet simple women's rights."
The announcement by King Abdullah came in an annual speech before his advisory assembly, or Shura Council. It was made after he consulted with the nation's top religious clerics, whose advice carries great weight in the kingdom.
It is an attempt at "Saudi style" reform, moves that avoid antagonizing the powerful clergy and a conservative segment of the population. Additionally, it seems to be part of the king's drive to insulate his vast, oil-rich country from the upheavals sweeping other Arab nations, with popular uprisings toppling regimes that once looked as secure as his own.
In contrast, King Abdullah in August withdrew the Saudi ambassador from Syria to protest President Bashar Assad's brutal crackdown on a seven-month uprising that calls for his ouster and the establishment of a democratic government.
The United States, Saudi Arabia's closest Western ally, praised the king's move.
"Muslim women in our Islamic history have demonstrated positions that expressed correct opinions and advice," said the king.
Abdullah became the country's de facto ruler in 1995 because of the illness of King Fahd and formally ascended to the throne upon Fahd's death in August 2005.
The king on Sunday also announced that women would be appointed to the Shura Council, a currently all-male body established in 1993 to offer counsel on general policies in the kingdom and to debate economic and social development plans and agreements signed between the kingdom with other nations.
The question of women's rights in Saudi Arabia is a touchy one. In a country where no social or political force is strong enough to affect change in women's rights, it is up to the king to do it. Even then, the king must find consensus before he takes a step in that direction.

The world dangerous man

The world dangerous man is Julian Assange

Experienced something this week by Julian Assange is not known since boyhood: a prolonged period without a computer. The editor-in-chief of WikiLeaks has spent the past four nights in Wandsworth Prison deprived of the laptop that constitutes one of his few possessions, waiting for the next stage in the extradition process that could result in his being put on trial in Sweden for the alleged sexual assault of two women.

The liberal establishment is rallying to his cause. John Pilger and A L Kennedy were among those calling for his release yesterday, and there are allies of another kind: computer hackers from all corners of the world who have teamed up to attack websites that, under pressure from the American government, have withdrawn online donation facilities from WikiLeaks.

Classified US material on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and now an avalanche of State Department cables, many embarrassing, have catapulted Assange and WikiLeaks to global prominence. Supporters say the sexual assault allegations are part of a campaign orchestrated by the US, which has suffered enormously from leaks, to discredit the creator of what has been described as "the most dangerous website in the world".

WikiLeaks remains something of a mystery. Who runs it? How does it work? And what will it do next? Julian Assange has many enemies, but is he also running out of friends?

HEALTH: Alopecia areata

HEALTH: Alopecia areata

Go to fullsize image
Alopecia is a condition that causes round patches of hair loss, and can lead to total hair loss.

Alopecia areata is a disorder characterized by loss of hair. Sometimes, this means simply a few bare patches on the scalp. In other cases, hair loss is more extensive.

Although the exact cause is not known, this is thought to be an autoimmune disorder in which the immune system, the body's own defense system, mistakenly attacks the hair follicles, the tiny structures from which hairs grow. Hair loss is the only noticeable symptom of this disorder. Hair loss is usually confined to the head and face, although the entire body may be involved.

Causes, incidence, and risk factors
The cause of alopecia areata is unknown. About a fifth of people with this condition have a family history of alopecia.

Alopecia areata is thought to be an autoimmune condition. This occurs when the immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys healthy body tissue.

Alopecia areata is seen in men, women, and children. A major life event such as an illness, pregnancy, or trauma occurs before the hair loss in some, but not most patients
